After 10+ years in the tech sector, Charlotte Koch pivoted to the literary world to focus on her debut novel, The Wolfskull Standard (coming soon). This foray led her to the art of editing, and now she holds a professional certificate in the field. A member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, she offers copyediting and other services for authors through her private business, Magenta Stripe Media.

She has attended and presented at numerous conferences, including the Popular Culture Association Annual Conference, BayCon, and the World Fantasy Convention. Charlotte’s writing has appeared in Good Internet Magazine and her personal blog.

Outside of writing, Charlotte spends her time with countless hobbies, including music production, digital art, retrocomputing, and much more. She’s often grinding away in Black Desert (Queek!) and exploring its vast world. She is also an active member of The NetBSD Foundation, contributing code and providing support whenever possible.

Charlotte is a San Francisco Bay Area native of several generations. She currently lives in Oakland, California.
